Sail and kayak to Day Harbor, Bear Cove, or Aialik for the night.

Luxury accommodations include three private staterooms, two baths with showers and a large enclosed wheelhouse to keep any unwanted Alaskan weather at bay. The Galley is a warm and comfortable space for relaxed evening gatherings.

Summary: No hotel pick-ups or drop-offs available. No child rate available. Minimum of 2 guests and maximum of 6 guests per tour. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-307-8513. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Overnight Sailing and Kayak Trip from Seward
Located at the head of Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula, Seward is one of Alaska's oldest and most scenic communities. Known as the "Gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park" Seward is a picturesque town located 126 miles south of Anchorage. Sail and kayak to Day Harbor, Bear Cove, or Aialik for the night.

Includes Sailing, Kayaks, guide, bedding accomodations, and meals.

The Swan:
Sail Alaska's waters in the luxury and comfort of our 61-foot motor sailor, the Swan, built in 1973 in Tacoma, Washington. She is a ketch rigged motorsailer and has three sails generally: the foresail at the bow, the main sail in the center, and the mizen sail at the stern of the ship.

Luxury accommodations include three private staterooms, two baths with showers and a large enclosed wheelhouse to keep any unwanted Alaskan weather at bay. The Galley is a warm and comfortable space for relaxed evening gatherings.

Forward Stateroom (Bow)
The Bow Stateroom contains a large double bunk on the port side.
On the starboard side, this stateroom also has a small sitting area and an elevated single bunk.
Guests of this stateroom share the bath just aft of the cabin.

Starboard Stateroom
The Starboard Stateroom has plenty of closet space and a single bunk.
There is also a desk if needed. Guests of this and the Bow Stateroom share a common bath.

Port Stateroom
The Port Stateroom is located forward of the wheelhouse and contains a large double bunk.
The private bath results in limited stowage space in this cabin.

Day One:

8 am Depart Seward Harbor
8 am ? 12 noon Sail around Resurrection Bay to Thumb Cove
12 noon Lunch on board the S/V Swan. After lunch, take a skiff to Shore in Thumb Cove where you will be greeted by your kayak guide.
1 pm ? 4 pm Guided Paddle around Thumb Cove
4 pm ? 6 pm Skiff back to the S/V Swan for Relaxation Hour, or? Take a Shore Excursion: We will skiff you to shore, with or without a guide, for Hiking, Beach Combing, Wildlife Viewing, Berry Picking, or other optional activities.
6 pm Dinner will be served on the S/V Swan
7 pm Sail to Aialik Bay, viewing wildlife along the way. Anchor up for the night

Day Two:

8 am Wake up to the Beautifully Scenic Aialik Bay. Breakfast on anchor
9 am ? 5 pm Sail around Aialik Bay where wildlife is in abundance and grab a chance to view glaciers calving as we visit the Holgate Glacier, Aialik Glacier, and Pederson Bay area.
12 noon Lunch will be served as we head back to Resurrection Bay
5 pm Return to Seward Harbor after sailing through Resurrection Bay
